Delivery Areas

We deliver nationwide within South Africa using either our in-house delivery team or trusted third-party couriers.

Certain remote areas may attract extended lead times or additional delivery fees.

Delivery Scheduling

Deliveries are scheduled in advance, and customers will be contacted to arrange a suitable date and time.

Standard delivery lead times are 3–10 working days after payment has cleared, unless otherwise communicated.

Delivery charges are calculated based on distance, order size, and delivery method.

Fees will be confirmed before final order approval.

Delivery Access

Customers must ensure that delivery access is clear and suitable for large furniture items.

If delivery is not possible due to restricted access, additional fees may apply for a re-delivery.

Risk & Responsibility

Risk of damage or loss passes to the customer once goods are delivered or collected.

Customers are required to inspect goods upon delivery and report any issues within 24 hours.

Appointment of Couriers

Where deliveries are outside our in-house delivery range or at our discretion, we may appoint a third-party courier service of our choosing.

Courier Services

Courier fees are calculated based on the size, weight, and destination of the order.

Courier deliveries are to ground floor only. Customers are responsible for moving items beyond the delivery point.

Risk Transfer

Once goods are handed to the courier, all risk transfers to the customer.

Delivery timelines are subject to the courier’s scheduling and may vary depending on the destination.

Liability

Thanda Bantu Online (Pty) Ltd is not liable for courier delays, damages, or loss beyond what is recoverable under the courier’s own policy.

Customers must report courier-related claims within 24 hours of receipt.

Customers may collect orders directly from our warehouse/showroom by appointment only.

Collections must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance to allow preparation.

Collection Requirements

Customers must present their order confirmation and a valid ID upon collection.

Payment on collection is strictly card only (no cash accepted).

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for bringing a suitable vehicle and manpower for safe loading and transport.

Once items leave our premises, responsibility for safe handling and transport lies with the customer.

Storage Fee Policy

Free Holding Period

Orders must be collected or scheduled for delivery within 7 working days of notification that they are ready.

Storage Fees

If goods are not collected/delivered within the free holding period, a daily storage fee will apply:

Abandoned Orders

If goods remain uncollected for 30 days or more, they may be considered abandoned.

Thanda Bantu Online (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to resell such goods to recover storage and administrative costs, with no refund due to the original buyer.
